This Web Site Privacy Statement ("Privacy Statement") tells our visitors ("you") about the information The Giving Network ("TGN" or "we") collects through its Web Sites (the "Web Site(s)") and how we use that information. TGN is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Statement describes TGN's Web Site privacy practices.

This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of Web Sites that link to this Privacy Statement or other Web Sites owned or operated by TGN (collectively referred to as "TGN Web Sites" or "our Web Sites").
The Web Sites may contain links to other third-party web sites. TGN is not responsible for the information practices or the content of such other web sites.
2. Information Collected
TGN offers a variety of applications and services. TGN collects information from individuals who visit the TGN Web Sites ("Visitors") and individuals who use the Services ("Customers").
When expressing interest in obtaining additional information about the Services, TGN asks you to provide individual contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address ("Required Contact Information").
As you navigate the Web Sites, TGN may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies ("Web Site Navigational Information"). In general, TGN may use this information to respond to your inquiry, request your participation in surveys, and contact you about TGN Services or partner offerings that may be of interest to you.
TGN uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the TGN Web Sites. TGN may also use Web Site Navigational Information to provide personalized information about TGN.

TGN uses commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies, to collect information as you navigate the TGN Web Sites ("Web Site Navigational Information"). 5. Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials
TGN may provide bulletin boards or blogs on the TGN Web Sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. TGN is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
TGN posts a list of Customers and testimonials on the TGN Web Sites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. TGN obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting testimonials.
6. Sharing of Information Collected
TGN does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information provided with third parties for their promotional purposes. From time to time, TGN may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from TGN, TGN may share data about TGN Customers collected in connection with your expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s).
TGN reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if TGN reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect TGN rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
7. International Transfer of Information Collected
TGN may use information about TGN Customers from around the world outside of the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if TGN transfers information of TGN Customers to other countries.

TGN hosts its Web Sites behind firewalls that provide for intrusion detection systems and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. This technology helps to ensure that Customer Data is safe, secure, and only available to TGN personnel.
